Stagehand supports @ClaudeDevs' new Tool SDK, converting model actions into browser actions.

Follow our quickstart guide to build your first browser agent with Claude and Stagehand.

Computer use and browser use toolsets are now built into the Python and TypeScript SDKs for Claude.

The API tells you what Claude wants to click or type.

Previously, you had to write your own loop and map clicks and keystrokes to commands, but the SDKs now run the loop and send actions to drivers.

Fireflies hit a $1B valuation on $19M raised. So why do they give their core software away for free?

@krishramineni joined me on Navigators to explain what Fireflies charges for instead of traditional SaaS and where the real value is.

Will agents actually be able to buy things on the internet? @stripe Co-Founder John Collison (@collision) thinks so.

We hosted him as our keynote speaker at Navigate 2026 to talk about agentic commerce, computer use, the singularity, and Stripe's recent acquisitions.

Molly O’Shea@MollySOShea · Oct 5

NEW: Stripe Co-Founder John Collison (@collision) says AI agents will completely rewire internet commerce.

@stripe processed $1.9T in 2025, up 34%. Now the company is rebuilding for an internet where AI agents, not humans, increasingly transact.

“Instinct is real, Muse is real. All these things are real.”

“Computer use is the ultimate backwards compatibility layer for the real world.”

I sat down with John at @browserbase Navigate to talk agentic commerce, computer use, cybersecurity, how Stripe is rebuilding for AI & why Stripe considers 2026 the beginning of the “singularity epoch.”

John sees AI already showing up in new company creation. Stripe is seeing its highest rate of new firm creation in recent memory, while its 2026 Atlas cohort is tracking at 5x the revenue of the 2025 class.

We also cover Stripe’s recent acquisitions:
› Bridge + Privy, bringing crypto-native infrastructure & talent
› Metronome, usage-based billing for the AI era
› OpenRouter, routing across multiple AI models as inference spend & model competition explodes

Browserbase is building the infrastructure for this shift, giving AI agents cloud browsers to navigate the existing web & take actions across it.

Browserbase Functions now support Secrets.

Agents need credentials to do real work on your behalf.

With Secrets, you can securely store credentials on the Browserbase platform and reference them at runtime in Functions.

Give agents access without leaking secrets.

Every single agent will need to verify themselves to prove their intentions on the internet.

That's why we're pioneering Web Bot Auth, a protocol that allows for good Agents to use the web.

We wrote a blog about the internals and how it works: browserbase.run/wba

Browser evals are only valuable if they hold up on the live internet. Most evals break with site updates, bot protection, and faulty graders.

We partnered with @hud_evals to write about what makes a good browser task that frontier labs actually want.

Most browser evals look clean in a sandbox and fall apart on the live web. We wrote a walkthrough with @browserbase on how to write browser evals that hold up on the live web.

Sites update, graders reward faked outputs, and bot detection kill your runs before the agent even starts. If you're benchmarking browser agents, your scores are probably noisier than you think.

Browserbase Agents now support human-in-the-loop workflows.

Developers can describe any condition - like waiting for an MFA code - and the agent will automatically defer control to the user before continuing.
