Twitter reply viewer, read the conversation.

Paste the link to a public post. PeekX opens it on its own page with the post it replies to, any quoted post, and a Show replies button that loads the public replies underneath.

How to see replies on Twitter without an account

Copy the post's link on X (Share → Copy link) and paste it into the box above. The post opens on PeekX at the same path as on x.com. If it is itself a reply, the post it answers is shown above it for context. Under the post, press Show replies to load the public replies; press More replies to keep reading. Replies are only fetched when you ask for them, so the page stays fast and you never need to log in.

How to

3 quick steps

  1. Copy the post link

On X, tap Share → Copy link. x.com, twitter.com, mobile, fxtwitter, vxtwitter and Nitter links all work.

  2. Paste it here

The post opens on its own page with its media, the post it replies to and any quoted post.

  3. Press Show replies

Public replies load underneath. Use More replies to keep going through the conversation.

Why replies are hard to see on x.com

When you open a post on x.com without being logged in, X shows the post itself and then a prompt to sign up — the replies underneath are hidden. That is frustrating when the interesting part is the conversation: a correction from an expert, the author answering questions, a company replying to a complaint, or the follow-up to a breaking-news post.

PeekX is a reply viewer that lets you read those public replies without an account. It doesn't log in on your behalf and doesn't touch anything private — it simply shows replies that are already public.

What you'll see on a post page

  • The post it answers. If the post is itself a reply, PeekX shows the parent post above it, so you know what it is responding to.
  • Quoted posts. Quote posts render the quoted post inline, with its own media.
  • Public replies, on request. The Show replies button loads the replies X returns for that post, in pages. Each reply links to its own page, so you can follow a side conversation as deep as you like.
  • The author's own thread. When the author kept replying to themselves, those posts are shown together as a thread — see the thread reader guide.

Replies on profile pages

On a profile, the Replies tab appears when the account's recent public posts include replies it wrote. That is a quick way to see how someone talks with others, not just what they broadcast. Use the profile viewer to open any account.

Good to know

Replies from protected accounts, and replies that X hides or limits, never appear — PeekX only shows public content. Very popular posts can have thousands of replies; PeekX loads them a page at a time so you only fetch what you actually read. If X is busy or replies are temporarily unavailable, the page tells you so instead of showing an empty list, and the post itself always stays readable.

Nobody is notified when you read their replies, and PeekX doesn't record which posts you open.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I see Twitter replies without an account?

Yes. Open the post on PeekX and press Show replies — the public replies load underneath without logging in.

Why don't replies load automatically?

Loading replies costs us an extra request to X, so PeekX only fetches them when you ask. The post itself always loads instantly.

Can I see replies from private accounts?

No. Replies from protected accounts are only visible to their approved followers, and PeekX never shows them.

Does the author know I read the replies?

No. X doesn't notify anyone about views, and PeekX doesn't log which posts you open.

Can I see what a post was replying to?

Yes. If the post is a reply, PeekX shows the parent post above it for context.
