adel 🌟@adelwu_ · Oct 9everyone is saying “this is me but how come i’m not getting jobs” you just gotta do this:
> post multiple times a day: your opinions, work, and creative projects
> never stop learning and improving
> interact with the community (in person, online)
> build real relationships with people/companies you admire
try that for a couple months and see where it goes! you can’t chase, gotta attract

I asked Claude Fable 5.1 to explain how a robot learns by building an interactive SO-101 arm you can control in your browser.
Drag the gripper, open a servo and stall it, record a demonstration at 30 Hz, then watch a real policy pick up a cube on its own.

The churn you can’t see

growth engineering is the best role in tech
you're technical, but you own the whole funnel
most swes never see what happens after they ship
most marketers never get to build the thing they're testing
I love it

writing PRDs and internal docs with AI should be banned.
sure, AI can rip one out in 30 seconds, but it steals the thinking away from you
the words were never the point, being able to clearly put your thoughts into words is

I split my job into 8 Grok bots
Most of my work at @browserbase is PLG. Instead of doing it all myself, each part of the job now has its own @bot
I only chat with the Head of Growth bot. I ask things like:
"What's driving our best-converting signups?"
"Where are users getting stuck in our product?"
And the bots work together to figure it out.
🖤 Head of Growth · coordinates the team and writes the weekly insight memo
🟩 Nummie · answers any PLG metric question with the number, the query and the caveats
🔵 Product Growth PM · tries the product as a user and finds where it breaks
🔷 WebWiz · finds organic and AI-answer gaps, drafts the pages and PRs (SEO/AEO Wiz)
⚪️ Voice of Customer · runs user interviews and X/Reddit listening, sends a weekly digest to the HoG
🟧 Growth Eng · ships the changes as small, reviewable PRs
🟪 Experiment Designer · turns briefs into experiments backed up by data from Nummie.
🟡 Scout · finds accounts already using the product that are ready to upgrade, and sends them to sales.
And they hand work to each other:
Nummie spots activation dropping for one segment
→ Growth PM checks the flow and finds the leak
→ Voice of Customer pulls what users are saying
→ Experiment Designer writes the pre-registered test
→ Growth Eng ships it behind a feature flag
→ Nummie calls the result, holdout included
→ Head of Growth puts it in Monday's memo.
