Players and officials from #Australian football club Como-Jannali FC visited “mu Rukari”, a place that tells the story of #Rwanda's royal past. This is where history is experienced rather than just reading about it. For these young Australians, their memorable moment at the King’s Palace was standing close to #Inyambo - the long horned cattle. The girls were also fascinated by the tradition of singing to the cattle. The delegation returns back to Australia today. Over the two weeks, they discovered a country where sport, culture, community and tourism come together. Today, senior officials from @RwandaHealth welcomed Dr. Irwan Moideen and Tita Adityaranie, co-founders of Singapore-based TI Medtech, for discussions on potential collaboration, investment, and knowledge exchange to support healthcare innovation and technology-enabled health solutions in #Rwanda.

TI Medtech is in #Rwanda as part of a two-week Trade and Investment Mission organized by @RwandaSingapore under the broader strategy to promote investment, facilitate business partnerships, and strengthen economic diplomacy between #Singapore and #Rwanda.

It was a pleasure meeting Juhi McClelland, Managing Partner for IBM Consulting Asia Pacific, to discuss the transformative opportunities that Artificial Intelligence presents for Rwanda and the African continent. Our conversation focused on how Rwanda can leverage AI to improve government efficiency, strengthen cybersecurity, accelerate digital transformation, modernize public procurement, enhance agricultural productivity, and develop a future-ready workforce. We also reflected on the strong parallels between Rwanda and Singapore: two nations that demonstrate how vision, innovation, good governance, and investment in human capital can create outsized impact despite geographic size. We explored the possibility of piloting AI-driven transformation initiatives in Rwanda. The discussion further highlighted the potential for Rwanda to position itself as a trusted regional hub for digital innovation, talent development, and AI adoption across Africa. As Rwanda continues implementing its AI Policy, Data Protection and Privacy framework, and the work of the newly established AI Agency, partnerships with global technology leaders such as IBM will be instrumental in accelerating our ambitions. I look forward to further engagements and exploring concrete areas of collaboration that can contribute to Rwanda's digital transformation journey and Africa's broader innovation agenda.
