Zed

Announcing tsc-rs (aka ts-rust), my complete rewrite of the Typescript compiler, type checker, and LSP, all in Rust.

This is a project I've had agents working on for 5 months now. I burned ~$400k of Codex tokens and got nowhere. Burned ~$20k of Opus and got there in 2 weeks.

I have not read a single line of the code.

tsc-rs is an open source drop-in replacement for tsc, and it's available now.

trying something new:

recorded a video walking through how you can use Delta subthreads to explore completely different approaches for a given problem, taking advantage of new things coming very, very soon :)

delta.dev • @zeddotdev

TFW you let Fable run wild on a research problem, now you have to make sense of a bunch of calculus before you can evaluate whether it even makes sense...

But at least @zeddotdev's delta.dev is making it a hell of a lot easier to manage these research threads!

Delta by @zeddotdev is an absolute life changing second brain harness

my first contribution to @zeddotdev just got merged 🎉

centered images in the markdown preview were stuck on the left. small fix, but you'd see it in a lot of READMEs.

took 44 days and two rounds of merge conflicts, but it's in 😄

fucking really? @zeddotdev get it together

i am hooked on delta omg

group chat with humans and agents on development threads is so fun!!

Giving each file its own crate to maximize build efficiency

These subtle things that @zeddotdev does always makes my day. How can they think so much about their audience!
