Your most used connections will now be listed first when setting up a new sheet. It’s a little update towards a bigger goal: we want Equals to be the fastest way to answer any question of your data.
This update might not change your life but some might call it pivotal.
We gave pivot tables a refresh, complete with a brand new sidebar. Designed to make them easier to use. Watch pivots in action as @benmcredmond builds out an analysis in <30 seconds.
Welcome back to your Wrap of what's new in Equals!
This week, we're focused on making your Equals experience smoother (so you can stay focused on the fun stuff):
• Apply query filters faster by clicking the "Only" button next to a searched filter • A new "Unhide" icon makes it easier to manage the visibility of columns • You can move pivot tables without leftover text cluttering your cells
A left-justified view lines up cohorts based on their subscription start date and month since acquisition, making it easy to compare cohorts at a given stage in their lifecycle.
A right-justified view aligns customers based on calendar month rather than start date. This allows you to quickly diagnose changes that happened at a single point in time, but that impact all cohorts, like pricing changes, feature launches, and market changes.

It's time for your Weekly Wrap of what's new in Equals!
Each time you build a view, you can go to the build history page to see the status of your job and any errors that would prevent your view from updating.
Plus: • The table browser closes automatically when rebuilding a view • Dashboard charts accurately display custom formats applied to the underlying data • Chart labels on the y-axis never overflow
You've probably seen us talk a bunch about ARR reporting.
Today, we're launching a SaaS first.
The ARR Build Blueprint in Equals solves the biggest limitations of existing reporting solutions.
✅ No more need to manually track corrections in another place. ✅ Never question if your ARR is "right" again
It's the first (and only) solution that allows you to tailor your reports to your revenue logic.
With it, you get:
1️⃣ Auto-generated clean views of your Stripe data 2️⃣ Tailored to your unique revenue logic 3️⃣ Made right with invoice corrections 4️⃣ Kept clean with domain and customer exclusions 5️⃣ Always available to query for always accurate reports
It handles all the heavy lifting, including writing complex SQL.
Designed based on everything we learned building tailor-made ARR reports for the likes of @descript, @attio, and @intercom, it's the fastest way to get the most accurate view of your ARR.
