I'm so excited to be joining @petersonacademy to teach “How to Avoid the Trap of National Victimhood”!

There is something comforting about being told that all your problems are someone else’s fault. But what happens when people build their whole identity around being victims?

I will draw on my own experience to explain who benefits from keeping that story alive and how entrepreneurship offers a way out.

We are filming in Phoenix, Arizona, and I’d love to see you there! 👇🏾

“Real laughter, genuine laughter, is involuntary. It's from the gut. You must have felt this, where you laugh at something you know you're not meant to, but it just comes out of you. That's the best kind of laughter.”

A female actor who identifies as “non-binary” plays a man in the new adaptation of “Sense and Sensibility”.

Once again, ideology is being prioritised over decent filmmaking.

I've had the pleasure of getting to know @johncleese, whose Life of Brian famously mocked religious dogma. Now someone's reported him to Britain's counterterrorism program for criticizing Islam.

I suspect even Monty Python would have rejected this plot as too absurd.

BREAKING: Two Jewish schools in New York City were placed under lockdown following bomb threats.

Look at these children, how little they are, being taken from their classes because someone thought it would be funny or righteous to threaten to murder them.

There is a sickness in New York.

"The principle of free speech means that parties on any side of this matter should be able to express their views openly, without the government getting involved," @andrewdoyle_com writes. wapo.st/4yDD3XF

A police officer pays a visit to a UK citizen for “derogatory comments” that she didn’t make.

Derogatory comments are not, in any case, against the law.

This nonsense is happening all the time. And there is no political will to stop it.

Senator John Kennedy on Elon Musk and DOGE exposing USAID, “I'll tell you what Mr. Musk discovered. I find it fascinating. He discovered:

- The American taxpayers are giving money to Afghanistan
- He found that we are giving money to Yemen
- He found that we are giving money to Syria
- He found that the USAID has 10,000 people employees, and every year they give away $40 billion
- He found that the USAID gave money to support electric vehicles in Vietnam. Our money, taxpayer money
- He found that the USAID gave money to a transgender clinic in India. “I didn't know that. I bet you the American people didn't know that”
- He found that USAID gave $1.5 million to a Serbian LGBTQ group, they got $1.5 million to QUOTE, “advanced diversity, equity, inclusion in Serbia's workplaces and business communities”
- They found that USAID spent $164 million to support radical organizations around the world
- They gave $122 million of that to groups aligned with foreign terrorist organizations
- According to this report in Mr. Musk, the USAID has given millions of dollars to quote organizations in Gaza controlled by Hamas
- He found that we gave $2 million, USAID did, for sex changes in Guatemala
- He found that we gave $20 million to produce a new Sesame Street show in Iraq
- He found that we gave $4.5 million of taxpayer money to combat misinformation in Kazakhstan
- He found that we gave $10 million, USAID did, of meals to an al-Qaeda-linked terrorist group called the Nusra Front
- Mr. Musk found that we gave $7.9 million of taxpayer money to a project that would teach Sri Lankan journalists to avoid binary gendered language. (The USAID took 8 million bucks and gave it to a bunch of journalists in Sri Lanka to teach them how to avoid binary gendered language)
- USAID gave $1.5 million to promote LGBT advocacy in Jamaica
- They gave $1.5 million to rebuild the Cuban media ecosystem
- They gave $1.5 million for quote, art for inclusion of people with disabilities in Belarus
- Another $3.9 million for LGBT causes in Macedonia
- $8.3 million for equity and inclusion education in Nepal

“I could go all night and many of my colleagues are upset. They're really mad at Mr. Musk. Hell, I think we ought to give him a medal”

The Trouble With Casting Women as Men - by Andrew Doyle

Few things are more irritating than politicians who refuse to answer straightforward questions.

But it does at least expose their fundamental lack of honesty, which is useful information for voters.

Fewer teenagers are identifying as LGB, and a professor of psychology says “what’s causing it is unclear”.

It’s perfectly clear. Young people were rewarded with status for identifying into a minority class.

It’s the same reason so many straight people call themselves “queer”.

Someone quite senior in the Green Lunatics has just messaged to admonish me re this article, telling me there are NO antisemites in the party, and that it was a 'slur'. Some people are beyond reach:

You arrest nearly three times as many people for speech in a single year as we did in the entire first red scare

Three years ago, after we learnt of the pogrom in southern Israel, some friends and I decided to set up the British Friends of Israel and pulled together a declaration of solidarity with British Jews. We ended up with >100,000 signatures. Am Yisrael Chai.

A Statement of Conscience on October 7

I will not start by saying ‘as a Muslim’ or ‘as an imam’, but as a human being.

On October 7, over 1,200 innocent people were killed in a single day. Families were shot in their homes. Young people out dancing were hunted across open fields. Over 250 people, including children and the elderly, were dragged into Gaza as hostages. I think of a mother hiding in a safe room with her baby’s mouth covered. I think of a father listening as the line went quiet. I think of families who waited month after month for someone to come home, only to receive a coffin. I didn’t need my faith to recognize the evil of what happened. My heart told me first.

But I’m a Muslim and an imam, and I owe the world one honest sentence: what was done that day was a crime against God. God teaches that whoever kills one innocent soul, it is as if he had killed all humanity.

This day has an author: Yahya Sinwar. He planned it, ordered it, and knew what would follow. Every death of that day and war he started rests on him and Hamas leaders who sat in tunnels and foreign hotels and called slaughter a victory. It rests on every Palestinian leader who cheered, excused, handed out sweets, or said nothing. They chose this. They own it.

But Sinwar did not invent himself. He was the fruit of a tree planted almost a century ago by the Muslim Brotherhood. Hamas named itself in its founding charter as the Brotherhood’s branch in Palestine. The Brotherhood’s poison is slow. It arrives through study circles, youth camps, charity boxes, and kind words to lonely young men. Drop by drop, it teaches him that his religion is a political party, his neighbour is his enemy, the Jew is the cause of his sorrow, and God is pleased by rage. By the time the gun arrives, the soul is already taken.

I have seen this poison in mosques where sermons became rallies and young men could recite slogans but not sit still for a verse on mercy. Every people that let the Brotherhood in has paid in blood and ruined generations. It has never built anything it did not first set on fire.

Behind Hamas stands another hand: the IRGC. It was the IRGC’s money, weapons, and training that turned a hateful idea into an army. One calls itself Sunni and the other Shia, and they may curse each other’s creeds, but they are united in what they worship. It is not God. It is power. The same IRGC that armed the killers of October 7 shoots Iranian girls for showing their hair, hangs young men for asking to be free, and has left graves from Tehran to Damascus to Beirut. They speak in God’s name. So did Pharaoh speak in the name of heaven.

So let me say this clearly. Hamas and the IRGC are not merely enemies of Islam. That would be too small a charge, as if their crime were only against us. They are enemies of God. God is the Giver of life, yet they deal in death. God calls Himself the Most Merciful, yet they have made cruelty a sacrament. God honoured the children of Adam, yet they look at a child and see a target or a shield. To murder what God created and sign His name to it is the oldest blasphemy.

And we Muslims have been too quiet. Some of us were afraid. Some told ourselves it was not our business. Some, God forgive them, felt something other than horror that morning and never confessed it. Silence was the soil this poison grew in. I will not add to it.

So on this anniversary, let us say plainly what our scripture already says. The Jews are not our enemies. They are our cousins in Abraham, and their dead were created by the same God who created us. Today belongs to them: the murdered, the hostages, and families who still set a place at the table. To them I say: I am sorry for what was done to you by men who used the words of my prayers. You’re not alone in your grief or remembrance.

The enemies of God are those who murder in His name. We know their names. It is time we said them from our own pulpits, in our own voices, before they speak for us again.

🚨 A 15-year-old schoolboy was arrested by West Midlands Police after posting online that a Conservative councillor was dressed like a “rent boy”.

In one of the most shocking cases we have seen at the Free Speech Union, Fraser, a 15-year-old @reformparty_uk activist, was woken in the night by four officers at his door. They arrested him and seized his devices.

The day before, he had been in Clacton campaigning for @Nigel_Farage in the by-election.

What had he done? A handful of Facebook posts had apparently upset a Conservative councillor in Wolverhampton so much that he called on West Midlands Police to act as his personal force.

In one post, Fraser criticised the councillor for wearing a T-shirt and shorts during a council meeting. In another, after the councillor wore a suit, Fraser remarked that he was thankfully not dressed like a “rent boy”. A third post showed the councillor with bunny ears and teeth.

On 8 September, Fraser’s lawyers received an email from West Midlands Police stating: “It is alleged that your client’s comments could be considered a hate crime offence.”

Fraser was arrested in view of his neighbours, searched twice, fingerprinted and photographed, then put in a cell. Even his shoes were taken away.

This is not something that should happen in a democracy. It is straight out of the Soviet handbook: politicians having their critics and mockers locked up.

Two months on, West Midlands Police have still not decided whether to charge Fraser.

The Free Speech Union is supporting him and will be there to defend him if he is charged.

This is not a drill anymore. Yesterday in Amsterdam, dozens—perhaps hundreds—of people were chanting: “Long live 7 October.”

Over the past five years, 62,199 people have been arrested for speech-related offences.

Of those, 18,520 were charged and 12,292 convicted. That means more than 12,000 people received criminal records for speech offences in just five years.

This is not normal in a free society. Britain is rapidly becoming the North Korea of the North Sea.

If you’re worried about the police knocking on your door over something you’ve said in person or online, join the Free Speech Union. We’re your best defence.

Just as most men aren't rapists, voyeurs or domestic abusers, so there are plenty of trans women who pose no risk to women and girls.

However, some trans-identified men provably are a risk. We know this because it's a matter of public record. Trans women have been convicted of all the crimes listed above, and of femicide.

No study has ever proven that trans-identified men don't have the same pattern of criminality as every other kind of man. All available evidence points the other way: they are just as likely as any other man to be a rapist or a woman-killer. The evidence is plain to see in government statistics and court reports, however much you'd like to pretend none of those exist.

Demanding that women and girls pretend there is no risk to themselves, which you do constantly, is itself abusive. Your insistence that you belong in women-only spaces, and your pretence that the likelihood of harm to females in those spaces doesn't increase with every man who's allowed inside, mark you out as precisely the kind of man who should be nowhere near women's and girls' locker rooms.

Decent men, however they identify, respect women's boundaries. Even if they themselves would never dream of harming a girl or woman, they are under no illusions about what some of their fellow men will do if given access to spaces where women and girls are undressed or otherwise vulnerable.

As for women who commit terrible crimes: I have literally never heard any woman deny that Myra Hindley, Karla Homolka or Joanna Dennehy are female. Nor have I ever seen a woman argue that being a woman entitles them to enter spaces reserved for vulnerable people, without having a professional or family-related reason for being there.

Yet another difference between women and trans-identified men of your type is that the former aren't demanding, en masse, the right to go where they clearly don't belong - for instance, into a nursery where they have neither a child nor a job, or onto an intensive care ward when they know nobody and have no medical qualifications, purely because they consider themselves to be especially kind and nurturing. Even if such an interloper didn't hurt a child or a critically ill person, women as a class understand how inappropriate it would be to push themselves into those spaces and just how much justified disquiet they'd cause by doing so.

The entitlement and disregard you show for the feelings and boundaries of women and girls are of those of an unfortunately all-too-common type of male. You believe you have the right to demand that women sacrifice their own personal safety to validate your feelings about yourself. You're either indifferent to the fact that you might make women and girls uneasy at best, and scared at worst, or you're well aware that you'll have that effect, and the thought gives you a thrill. Nothing about that makes you a woman. On the contrary, you just keep proving, over and over again, that you are a man.
