I am deeply honored and grateful to President @realDonaldTrump for the opportunity to serve as the 31st United States Secretary of Labor.

Thank you to Secretary @SecScottBessent for administering the oath of office.

It is the privilege of a lifetime to serve American Workers and Job Creators, the best anywhere in the world and I’ll continue fighting for them on behalf of @POTUS every day.

Under @POTUS and @VP, the days of hiding visa fraud behind university gates are over.

Abuse H-1B or J-1 visas, sell out American workers, or open doors to foreign adversaries, we’re coming.

National security. America first.

American Workers are the greatest in the world and companies are put on notice.

I’m working closely with our great @USLaborIG to ensure they have the opportunities that have been stolen from them through fraud for decades.

We have a mandate under @POTUS and through the leadership of @VP on the @WHFraudTF—we’re rooting out fraud and abuse to protect the American Worker. 🤝 🇺🇸

Yesterday, Vice President JD Vance was joined by @StephenM, @AGToddBlanche, @Sonderling47, @USLaborIG, and @AFergusonFTC to announce new actions to fight H-1B and J-1 Visa fraud.

.@Sonderling47: "If you can suppress wages and pay 25-35% less wages by bringing in foreign workers, companies have abused that and they've abused that on the backs of American workers — and that's why today's announcement was so historic."

🚫 Displacing American Workers.

🚫 Outsourcing loopholes.

🚫 Lottery manipulation.

With the actions by @USDOL and a close partnership with @USLaborIG—we’re fighting back against this abuse of taxpayer dollars and saying, if you facilitate this gross fraud and undercut American Workers, we’re not tolerating it anymore and WE WILL HOLD YOU ACCOUNTABLE at every level. 👊

For years, the H-1B visa program has been manipulated by fraudsters and it’s been allowed to run rampant—THAT ENDS NOW!

The difference is @POTUS, @VP, and the @WHFraudTF—we are FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGING the H-1B visa program to ensure we’re prioritizing AMERICAN WORKERS FIRST instead of foreign fraudsters.

The action we took today to suspend major companies from the permanent visa program is just the first step in cracking down on fraud and abuse.

@USLaborIG is locked in and we’re more focused than ever on punishing these fraudsters and returning money to hardworking Americans—where it belongs. 🇺🇸

I used to read Word Up magazine.

.@POTUS @VP and @Sonderling47 are clear: American workers FIRST.

Abuse visas. Steal American jobs. Break the law. A prestigious college won’t save your ass.

I didn’t back down from criminals in Brooklyn. @DOLOIG and @WHFraudTF sure as hell won’t back down from a university.

And the Trump Administration isn’t putting up with it anymore. 🚫

Under @POTUS and @VP’s leadership, if you choose to import cheap foreign fraudsters over hiring American Workers—we will come after you and you will pay the consequences.

@WHFraudTF will make sure of it. 💪

Stealing from the American Worker WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

@USDOL is working closely with @TheJusticeDept to bring anyone who would prey on the American People to swift and immediate justice.

.@VP: “Shoutout to @USDOL Secretary @Sonderling47 who’s been really an amazing partner in the anti-fraud task force.

Thanks to Keith’s hard work, we’ve uncovered about $20 BILLION in fraud just within his department and secured over 200 CONVICTIONS in the last five months.” 💪 🇺🇸

Thank you Mr. Vice President and under @POTUS and your leadership on @WHFraudTF, we’re holding fraudsters ACCOUNTABLE and putting MONEY BACK IN THE POCKETS of hardworking Americans. 🫡

.@USLaborIG: “@POTUS and @VP have unleashed the resources, empowered law enforcement, and made it clear that protecting American workers and taxpayers is a NATIONAL priority.” 💪 🔥 🇺🇸

Thank you @Sonderling47, @AGToddBlanche, @StephenM, @AFergusonFTC, and @USLaborIG for this major effort in the fight against fraud.

It’s time these jobs that were stolen from American workers finally go to Americans, and this step is going to make sure the wrongs of the past are corrected.

.@USLaborIG 🤝 @Sonderling47

🚨@USLaborIG: “I don’t care how prestigious a university thinks it is, break the law and screw the American people, and I will personally cuff you in the university square.”

@DOLOIG just launched a MASSIVE J-1 visa investigation. The cuffs are coming.

Vice President JD Vance pushes back on the lie that Americans are not good enough for jobs in their own country:

“We have to push back against this lie. Americans are good enough to inherit the great things about their country. Americans are good enough to build a future in this great country. We cannot allow either foreign or domestic companies to send a message to the American people that they are not good enough for their own nation. Because when they do it pads their profits, it depresses the American spirit of camaraderie and self determination. It’s a terrible deal for American workers and we’re putting a stop to it.”
