BREAKING: Venezuela’s telecom regulator, Conatel, has officially authorized Starlink to provide satellite internet nationwide. 🇻🇪

After June’s earthquakes damaged phone and internet networks, Starlink provided more than 1,600 kits to support rescue teams, medical staff and humanitarian groups.

Now, this approval opens the door to connecting more communities, giving people more choice and new opportunities to learn, work and stay connected.

For those impacted by the earthquake in Panama, Starlink is providing free service through November 10 to new and existing customers in the affected areas. Preparing for launch on Monday

Students and teachers across rural schools in Argentina used Starlink to join a video call with @MinCapHum_Ar, experiencing high-speed internet in their classrooms for the first time.

Previously, they had to travel ~30km to get online and now have reliable connectivity to access remote learning and digital activities. This effort is part of a larger project to connect 6,000 schools in the country 🛰️❤️

Starlink with @MinCapHum_Ar and @ENACOMArgentina will provide 6,000 kits to rural schools in Argentina, giving thousands of students and teachers fast, reliable internet.

Teachers can build lesson plans with digital resources, while students can join online classes, use digital libraries, and learn through a variety of tools that were not accessible before.
