£2bn committed by the UK to scale quantum systems.

The shift is clear. Quantum is moving from science to engineered infrastructure.

Our latest Insight Report explores why modularity is the foundation for scaling in a structured, repeatable way.

UK’s £2bn quantum announcement is a meaningful step forward.

The shift toward procurement stands out. Advanced procurement of large scale systems in the early 2030s moves the focus from experimentation to delivery.

At UQ, this is the what we are already delivering against.

We will be at Careers in Quantum.

The event brings together students, researchers and industry to explore the expanding career landscape in quantum technology. We look forward to connecting with emerging talent.

UQ CEO, Sebastian Weidt got featured in Sky News’ coverage of the UK’s new quantum partnership and the race for national security leadership.

Arturo, one of our Quantum Hardware Engineers, is working on one of the largest government contracts for quantum computing to date. Worth €67m, the deal will see UQ create one single chip and later a multi-chip scalable quantum computer for the DLR Quantum Computing Initiative

UQ will be at the 7th European Conference on Trapped Ions (ECTI), held in Schloss Bückeburg, Germany - from today to Thursday. For those attending, approach our friendly UQ reps to talk about anything quantum; including our unique approach to solving the million qubit question.

Many thanks for the kind invitation from #Q2BTokyo. Sebastian is in Tokyo to give a talk tomorrow on scaling quantum computers.

He welcomes tough and honest questions about what it will take to make _useful_ quantum computing a reality.
