Tom Lee: Continued DAT Buying Could Push Crypto Prices Higher
On September 30, 2026, BitMine Chairman Tom Lee @fundstrat told CoinDesk @CoinDesk at Korea Blockchain Week that digital asset treasury companies (DATs) trading above their net asset value can raise capital to buy more crypto, reducing available supply and potentially driving prices higher. Citing HYPE as an example, he said a Hyperliquid DAT holds about 14% of the token supply and continues to buy. If its holdings reached 50%, HYPE could rise parabolically.
WuBlockchain notes that Tom Lee's market forecasts tend to be optimistic. His bullish targets may not materialize, and actual market performance may differ significantly from his predictions. Readers are encouraged to focus on his analytical reasoning rather than use specific price targets or timelines as a basis for investment decisions.

South Korea is one of the world’s largest crypto markets, ranking among the top 5 globally for both crypto flows and adoption according to the latest Chainalysis report.
At @kbwofficial , our Global Head of Policy, Mykolas Majauskas, shared some of the lessons we have learned from working with regulators and building regulated businesses across different markets.
“One lesson is universal. Trust comes before growth. For a global digital asset company, that means understanding local rules, building real substance and being prepared to stay through different market cycles.”
Technology, governance and security are prerequisites. But long term credibility also comes from showing regulators that a company is there to contribute, share experience and operate to the standards expected of established financial institutions.

Galaxy's Head of Firmwide Research, Alex Thorn (@intangiblecoins) took the stage at Korea Blockchain Week in Seoul to tackle a question the whole market is asking: Will Bitcoin's 4-year cycle ever die?
As Bitcoin matures into an institutional asset class, it becomes more important to pressure-test the frameworks we use to understand it.
Thank you to the @kbwofficial team for having Galaxy in the room.

Takeaways from the ground at @kbwofficial, as written by COO @kylejenke:
1. Korea is one of the most forward-thinking markets on broad tokenization, even as regulations are developing.
2. Per capita crypto awareness in Korea is the highest in the world.
3. The Clarity Act stalling is landing harder in Europe than in Korea, where the rules and dates are already set.
4. Korean institutions are solving for preparedness and future growth.
Watch Korea closely. It's one of the most exciting markets globally.

Last week I spoke at Korea Blockchain Week in Seoul on the panel "Will Bitcoin's Four-Year Cycle Ever Die?"
Thank you to @ItaiElizur of @MarketAcross for hosting and keeping the discussion sharp. It was a pleasure speaking alongside @intangiblecoins of @galaxyhq and @GueYoon of @Happyblock_inc.
The more institutional capital, public-market participation, and U.S. infrastructure shape Bitcoin, the more it matters that we test our assumptions about how this market behaves. Grateful to the @kbwofficial team and everyone in the room.
