In Q3, we brought more of the work lawyers do every day into Legora, from finding the right precedent to refining a draft and presenting their analysis.

Our releases and betas introduced new ways to work with @iManageinc Cloud documents and expanded integrations with @Box, @Ironclad_inc, and @DatasiteGlobal. Teams can review and edit the Agent’s changes to Word documents directly in Legora and turn legal analysis into editable PowerPoint presentations. We also introduced more control over Agent plans, project sharing, and downloads.

Each update makes Legora more capable as a connected system for legal work, bringing the knowledge that teams rely on into the work they deliver.

Here are a few highlights from Q3.

What does it take to keep legal ahead of a company that never stands still?

Erica Swainson has spent nine years finding out. As VP of Legal Innovation & Strategic Initiatives at @Salesforce, she leads the team that connects traditional legal practice with operational efficiency and AI-driven transformation.

Her entire career has been in-house in tech, and she holds a Master’s in Cybersecurity Risk and Strategy from NYU, which gives her a rare lens on one of the hardest questions in legal right now: how do you manage risk when the technology changes faster than the rules?

BMW Group is rolling out Legora across its in-house legal team.

BMW Group's Legal, IP and Compliance function has already built a reputation for innovation.

Legora will support the department's strategy to further enhance efficiency, strengthen knowledge management, and enable lawyers to maintain focus on strategic legal advice and risk management.

This announcement comes one week after we opened our Munich office. Over 13,000 lawyers in Germany now work in Legora, up from around 3,000 at the start of this year.

@MaxJunestrand sat down with @etnshow in London last week to talk about one of the most common questions we get: which model is best for legal work?

His answer stays the same. There is no best model.

The frontier moves fast, and whichever model leads this month won't necessarily lead next month. So we built the infrastructure to route every task to whichever model handles it best right now, backed by continuous benchmarking. For the narrow tasks that repeat at volume and have one right answer, we post-train a smaller model instead of relying on a general one.

This morning, @MaxJunestrand joined Bloomberg's The Opening Trade from their London studio.

He walked through a Q3 that added 800 new customers in three months, bringing Legora's total past 2,300 across more than 80 countries, with more ARR added this quarter alone than the company's entire ARR at the end of 2025.

Asked whether AI is costing legal jobs, Max's view was clear: legal work is supply constrained, and our customers are hiring more lawyers as a result. Better tools close the gap between the work that should get done and the work that actually does, while judgment stays with the lawyer.

Ask any general counsel what slowed their last AI rollout and you'll rarely hear "the technology." Instead, you might hear about budget approvals, vendor onboarding, or another quarter.

Today at DevDay, @OpenAI announced its B2B marketplace. Legora is a launch partner.

What it changes: eligible enterprise customers can apply part of their existing OpenAI commitment toward qualifying partner products, Legora included. One commitment, already in place, that can now cover both the models and the legal platform built on top of them.

It's a small change in how software gets bought and a large one in how quickly legal teams get to the work.

Today, we opened the doors to our first German office in Munich.

At the start of the year, around 3,000 legal professionals in Germany were using Legora. That number has now passed 13,000, with in-house lawyers on the platform growing eightfold since January.

Björn Franke, Regional Vice President for DACH, has been building the region since June and will lead the new office. Across DACH as a whole, more than 200 law firms and legal departments now use Legora, including Linklaters, White & Case, Erste Bank, and RWE.

"What convinced us was not just the technology, but how professionally it was implemented collaboratively across our function," said Markus Frowein, Chief Digital Integrity Officer at RWE.

A handful of colleagues has grown into a full office over one summer, and the team is still hiring. Globally, more than 2,000 law firms and in-house legal departments across over 80 markets already use Legora.

Opus 5.5 is one of the highest-performing models we've evaluated.

In an M&A drafting task, the model was asked to draft a purchase agreement and disclosure schedules from the deal file:

→ It completed the required consents schedule with the relevant landlord consent, change of control waiver, and contracts containing anti-assignment or change of control provisions. The comparison output left the schedule blank and listed these as items to address later.

→ It correctly defined the restricted territory as the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, while leaving Australia bracketed for client confirmation. The comparison output included only the United States.

→ It capped each stockholder’s indemnity liability at their pro rata share of damages, rather than the consideration they received.

Opus 5.5 will soon be available to Legora customers.
