Could AI’s next infrastructure boom happen in space?

@alexwg and I spoke with @Starcloud_ CEO @PhilipJohnston about orbital AI data centers, 88,000 satellites and Dyson swarms.

This will sound super crazy, but I see a path to SpaceX being worth orders of magnitude more than the current Earth economy

.@Starcloud_ CEO @PhilipJohnston:

"Buy SpaceX stock."

" The SpaceX IPO is going to be viewed historically as the most undervalued IPO of all time."

"They will tear through $10 trillion certainly within the next couple of years, and then have almost unlimited TAM for what they're building."

"I'm not regulated by anybody. So I'm going to tell people, 'Just buy SpaceX stock.' I think it's a great stock to buy."

"They own what will be by far the most cost-effective launch vehicle, and that opens up every industry in space that will be possible beyond that: asteroid mining, lunar resource mining, all of the comms businesses that are going to be built. Everything else is going to have to go through SpaceX."

"It's like owning the railroads. Lots of businesses will be built on top of it, like our business will be built on top of it."

"The railroads are a great business to own."

We recently led the @jeevyfab Series A, and so I recorded a video for the @Standard_Cap channel to talk about it.

Jeevy Fabrication builds the physical things that get rockets off the ground: tanks, piping, fluid systems, and structural assemblies. Their customers include SpaceX and Lockheed Martin.

Jeevesh previously worked on Starship ground support equipment at SpaceX and was previously at Rondo Energy, and they're now using AI and a data-rich coordination layer to fix the biggest bottleneck in hardware: getting parts on spec and on time.

JUST IN : SPACEX IS LOOKING TO RAISE $40 BILLION DOLLARS IN DEBT

IT WILL USE THE DEBT TO BUY MORE NVIDIA CHIPS

$SPCX $NVDA

This is insane!

I asked @bot to make me a video on spaceflight history. This is mindblowingly good.

The scientific calculations, ambition, analysis and discussion around @FermiExplorer are next level ✨ Visualisations are stellar! Honestly everyone interested in space exploration and the universe should check this out. It’s like real science meets Star Trek. ✨💫

Propagating super intelligence to the stars is a great success condition for a biological bootloader

This was a fantastic lineup of leaders building the future; glad to see our own Katelin Holloway and 776 founder @PhilipJohnston of @Starcloud_ speaking on the inevitability of data centers in space

Cool indeed @RuiHuang_art! Excited to carry this to Alpha Centauri on board the @FermiExplorer!
