Silverback Gicurasi, the oldest member of the historic Pablo group, has not been seen by our trackers since June 1, just after his 30th birthday, despite extensive searching. His absence from the group and the nearby area has raised concern, but we also have hope, as history reminds us that disappearances do not always mean the end.

Get your very own TJ plush! 🦍 ✨

We've teamed up with Wild Republic to create this replica of Titus, the “Gorilla King.”

Titus, studied by Dian Fossey and the silverback of his group, was a strong but gentle leader. He had a very distinct noseprint, which was the inspiration for this gorilla plush, TJ!

Made with soft, eco-friendly materials and lifelike features, TJ makes a GREAT holiday gift for the conservationist in your life! 🎁

Grooming is an important part of gorilla life! 🦍 🦍

In this video, see 4-year-old Kwanda groom silverback Turakomeje. Watch as young Kwanda meticulously combs through Turakomeje's hair, looking for any bugs, dirt or debris.

For gorillas, grooming is not just important for hygiene, but also helps gorillas bond and relax. 💛
