So this guy pays Kimberly Guilfoyle $300k for three separate speaking engagements before she’s even a government official, possibly unbeknownst to Kimberly that he expects favors in return?
Then Kimberly allegedly asks for another $100K before her ambassador nomination, which she never receives, and no favors are delivered.
Now this guy is losing his mind over favors he apparently believed he was entitled to.
First of all, it’s not a crime to get paid for speaking engagements. The Obamas, Bidens, and countless other public figures make bank off of it.
Then he goes off on an unhinged rant to @KatiePavlich about the “media” not covering his story about some doctor he wants extradited to the U.S.
What he doesn’t seem to understand is that responsible reporters don’t just put unverified allegations on national television. There are legal and editorial standards, and frankly, the story may have been too complicated or too far in the weeds for national reporters to pursue.
Bottom line: He seems furious that he paid for access and didn’t get the favors he thought he deserved.
Katie asked the important questions, and this interview was incredibly revealing. She let him talk, pressed him where it mattered, and gave viewers a chance to draw their own conclusions.
Perfectly executed.
