🛰️ Compute in orbit
Launch costs fell from ~$150K/kg in the 1960s to ~$1K today. @0xBobdbldr from @Starcap_xyz on what that unlocks: datacentres powered by solar and cooled by space itself, in a $613B space economy heading to $1T.

I'll be attending Singapore Token49 event and would love to meet and chat with you about SpaceFi thesis, AI in space, credit and private equity in space, and of course, rockets!

I'll be also speaking at @nolimithodl event about the future of space infrastructure and the role DeFi in financing it

dm me and let's orbit over a coffee

Keytruda, one of the world's top-selling cancer drugs, is delivered by IV because of how its crystals form

Grow those crystals without gravity's convection currents and you get a purer, more uniform product, pure enough to inject under the skin in minutes instead of infusing for hours

The microgravity step is small enough to fit in a capsule, which is exactly what a payload slot is for

Pharma goes to orbit for one reason: microgravity grows crystals no ground lab can match

Purer crystals let researchers reformulate a drug from an IV drip into a simple injection

SpaceFi is not only about physics, but also about frontier medicine and helping people live more

SpaceFi revenue runs along a wide spectrum

At one end sit short-term speculative revenue sources. At the other sit long-term cashflow sources tied to infrastructure that is actually built, operating and selling to customers

Rocket Strategy is designed to capture both ends

Nobody:

Us: buying a rocket and tokenizing it on Robinhood Chain

SpaceFi

do you get it?

35 to 50% of rocket payload mission revenue arrives before the first launch, so robinhood:0x8d1612b4b78ebf08cfbf01a04fa270ccbb0509a2 holders start getting paid during the build as well, not only after it

Our team is also lining up other revenue sources beyond the rocket launch, which we will announce in future articles

How will our reusable suborbital rocket make money for robinhood:0x8d1612b4b78ebf08cfbf01a04fa270ccbb0509a2 holders?

The business model is simple: sell the ride, many times over

Each flight carries customer payloads to space and brings them back. Customers pay for the room they take up, plus extras such as onboard power, a live data downlink or releasing the payload mid-flight

Because the rocket returns, gets inspected and launches again, one vehicle earns across many missions instead of being thrown away after one

So who buys payload space, and why?

- Space agencies and funded researchers: A few minutes of microgravity answers questions no ground lab can, at a fraction of what orbit costs

- Satellite and component makers: Flying a part through real launch loads and vacuum before an orbital mission is cheap insurance against a failure nobody can repair

- Defense programs: High-speed flight, re-entry materials and sensors need real flight data, and wind tunnels only go so far

- Biotech and materials labs: They test how fluids, cells and alloys behave without gravity, then decide whether a longer orbital run is worth paying for

- Universities: A student experiment can reach space and be back on the bench the same morning

All of them are buying the same three things:

- Real space conditions
- A fast repeat (vehicle turnaround in as little as two days)
- Their hardware back in their hands

Rocket Strategy is working to unlock this hidden economic upside in space for holders, one flight at a time

A question we get a lot: where does BLK3 fly from?

Spaceport America, New Mexico. The pad sits in the Vertical Launch Area at the southern end of the range, 1,400 m above sea level, at 32°53'58"N 106°55'48"W

Launch control is a trailer about 150 m from the tower, and payload teams watch from a viewing area roughly 450 m out

Around the pad runs a 6.5 km flight hazard circle, and the guidance software is designed to shut the engine down if the rocket would ever leave it during boost

Crews and payload teams stay in Las Cruces, about 90 km and an hour's drive away

We're going to be live with @MCGlive within few minutes

Meet BLK3, the rocket the $RKST tax is being raised to buy

Being built by Exos Aerospace in Greenville, Texas, it is a reusable suborbital launch vehicle and the newest member of the SARGE family

BLK3 is designed to carry 135 kg to 100 km, the edge of space, launching from Spaceport America in New Mexico

On the way down a ballute slows it through supersonic speeds, then a guided parachute steers it back to a recovery area near the launch pad, where it can be inspected and prepared to be able to fly again in as little as two days

Join us tomorrow on the @MCGlive live stream, where we will talk more about:

- SpaceFi
- The upcoming rocket acquisition
- How value accrues to $RKST
- What's next on the roadmap for Rocket Strategy
