👫Gender mainstreaming: The key to success

In the Empowering Women in Informal Cross-Border Trade #EWICBTProject, implemented by Pro-Femmes Twese Hamwe, gender is not treated as an add-on, it is at the heart of every activity.
By mainstreaming gender, the project ensures that women traders gain equal access to training, finance, and decision-making spaces, while men are engaged as allies in promoting fairness and shared responsibility.

This approach breaks down barriers, challenges stereotypes, and creates an environment where both women and men benefit.
