🌼It's time for #LetItBloomJune!🌼

Happy Easter! To celebrate, here's footage of one of Britain's rarest wildflowers, the pasqueflower, filmed by Plantlife's Meadow's Adviser Matt Pitts last Thuursday. “Pasque” derives from the Hebrew word for Passover - “pasakh” - as it often blooms around this time of year.

We've noticed many understandably expressing delight at patches of electric blue Germander speedwells showing on #NoMowMay lawns. Richard Mabey notes they were once sewn into the clothes of travellers to bring luck & occasionally known as Eye of the child Jesus #EveryFlowerCounts

Yellow Rattle is the most important plant you need when creating a wildflower meadow🌼

Without it, vigorous grasses can grow unchecked & smother the flowers you want 🌷

It can be a little tricky to establish so read our blog for expert advice
