Looking forward to speaking at The Calling leadership conference tomorrow! 3,000 of us joining at the SEC Armadillo 👏🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

A few photos from chairing #CyclingScotlandConf today with Cycling Scotland 🚲

The welcome address from Cab Sec Economy, Tourism & Transport Stephen Flynn & a brilliant keynote speaker Anna Holligan, BBC Foreign Correspondent & “Dutch news from the cycle lane” superstar!

Happy to comment in this piece about the frustratingly unrecyclable Buzzballz which are taking the alcoholic drinks industry by storm!🍹❌♻️

BBC Cymru Wales - It's the cocktail taking young drinkers by storm - but the packaging is 'unrecyclable' bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

All of this destruction because of a fire that started in a vape shop.

Vapes contain lithium ion batteries, which are a huge fire risk when handled wrongly or damaged.

All of this devastation to my home city Glasgow because of a vape shop.

…and the fire is still burning.

The images are just horrific.

Last night I binged #DirtyBusiness on @Channel4 — and honestly, it’s hard to stop thinking about it.

This drama tells the true story behind England’s sewage scandal & in my view has the potential to spark the same level of public awareness and outrage as #MrBatesvsThePostOffice

#COP30 evacuated due to a fire in the pavilions.

Here we go… #COP30 🇧🇷

AD 🌍 I took a trip to the @Vattenfall Aberdeen Bay Offshore Windfarm to hear about how renewable energy and nature can thrive together!

Time to responsibly recycle the old business cards — I recently got married and my surname is now Laura Anderson (previously Young).

Went for a coffee at the North Lanarkshire Council café in Strathclyde Country Park today after Parkrun and tried to hand over my reusable cup. The response? A standoffish “we don’t do those.” @nlcpeople

It was an honour to give the closing keynote for the International Fair Trade Towns Conference 2025 which was held in Edinburgh.

Thanks to Fair Trade Scotland for the invitation, it was a wonderful day.

🦷Another pointless plastic item is clogging up our streets, beaches and seas: single-use dental flossers.

Until we get a global deal on plastic pollution, we’ll keep highlighting these wasteful items & demanding action.

I enjoyed this little reclaimed street in London!🌳🪑☕️🚸What a treat in amoungst busy roads and pavements to have a little oasis with people prioritised, plenty of seating & some nice greenery to go with it. I also enjoyed the old yellow lines being turned into a seating place!

Earlier this month I caught up with @Richard_Dixon the new Chair of @EnvStanScot . I found out more about his work, and the work of @EnvStanScot including how you can get in touch if you have any environmental concerns. youtube.com/watch?v=pcHz9l…

Disposable vapes were banned in the UK in June 2025, but has the problem gone away?🤔🌬️

In the latest #GreenAlliancePodcast, Libby Peake spoke to Scott Butler (Material Focus), Dr Mike McKean (Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health) and me about the campaign behind the ban.

ad🚲🚌Did you know that there is a free bike bus running every Sunday until October 26th around the @innerforth in Scotland? We went on a day trip from Troon using only public transport to check it out!

This project is funded through the @HeritageFundUK #climateforth #AD

Always great to join the Sunday morning Faith Forum hour long programme on @BBCScotland - with Ronnie Convery and Tony Kearney (and Ani Rinchen Khandro remote).

Thanks to @Chrisitv from @itvnews & @mabelfbn from @guardian for focusing on "fast tech"!

I was pleased to contribute to The Guardian piece, highlighting the almost single use smart tech that is using up valuable resources & contributing to a throwaway culture of plastics.

✨ Last night was truly unforgettable. I’m honoured (and a little bit embarrassed!) to have received a Pride Of Scotland Award for Special Recognition, for my campaigning work around disposable vapes.
