George Washington himself ordered public executions

.@POTUS on live-streaming the execution of the Fort Hood jihadist terrorist: "They want to do that because they want to set an example. I wasn't involved in that decision, but I understand the decision. He went in and killed 14 people; he badly, badly wounded 22 people — walked into a room, just started firing at everybody, screaming things that he shouldn't be screaming. I guess they want to have it serve as an example, and I understand that very well."

Charlie Kirk: "This is my problem with the death penalty, it takes too long, too many appeals. It should be quick, it should be public, it should be televised"

New: Katie and Stephen Miller’s home on a military base has become the most talked about party address in MAGA DC.

She hires hibachi chefs, petting zoos, and a mechanical bull. It can feel like the entire cabinet is there. “Sometimes we joke: ‘Do we need a designated survivor for this one?’”

Historian of fascism here. This is an escalation of an attempt to normalize extreme violence, ritualize violence, militarize the country, and make violence entertaining so when they ask you to commit violence in their name, you will be ready.

Here’s Mike Ditka campaigning for Trump days before the 2016 election, when most big names were running away from him.

Rest in peace to a true American Patriot.

For those who didn’t know, it has been the official teaching of the Catholic Church for years now that the death penalty, live-streamed or not, is inadmissible in modern society. See section of catechism below.

Thank you to President Trump for the distinguished privilege of serving as White House Press Secretary.

Serving President Trump and the American people at this critical 250-year mark is the honor of a lifetime. President Trump has shown America that we can be great again, and he works to effectuate that greatness every single day. His confidence is a true privilege, and his leadership is a blessing to this country.

The work ahead is to continue delivering strong results for our Country and communicating to the American people the major wins that this Administration is making every single day. I look forward to working with the White House press corps, and with reporters across the country, to get that record out. Following the fabulous Karoline Leavitt is a high standard, and one worth meeting.

God bless President Trump, and God bless America.
