Freddie Roach

Boxing has lost a great talent and a wonderful man. Manny and I so enjoyed working with Ricky promoting their fight. Ricky had a wonderful sense of humor, but more importantly he was a warrior and a winner. Manny and I cut no corners in training camp preparing for that fight because we had so much respect for him. The team at Wild Card Boxing joins me in mourning the loss of Ricky as we extend our sympathies to his family and friends. There will be only one Ricky Hatton.

Very sad to hear of the passing of George Foreman. George was a true legend of the sport of boxing and a sports icon. You will always be remembered, Big George Foreman. May you rest in peace. My condolences to the Foreman family. #GeorgeForeman #boxing #legend #icon #iconic

I opened my gym, @WildCardBoxing1 , in hopes that the next Muhammad Ali would walk through the door. Little did I know that in 2001, my Muhammad Ali would weigh 122 pounds. His name was @MannyPacquiao and he was and still is the pride of the Philippines. For twenty years, after Manny and I first did mitts in the ring at Wild Card, we trained together for some of the biggest fights. As his collection of world championship belts grew, so did his presence in boxing and the world. Today’s announcement that Manny will be a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025 makes me incredibly proud. As much as I loved working together with Manny all those years, I’m even happier sharing the same wall with him at the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Congratulations, Manny. You deserve this. You are and will always be my Muhammad Ali. #livinglegend #mannypacquiao #legend #boxer #fighter #champion #worldchampion #goat #wildcardboxing #wildcardboxingclub #boxing #family #community #Philippines #freddieroach #trainer #USA #HallOfFame #IBHOF #history #boxinglife #fightlife #TeamPacquiao @TooFred @WCBstore @ufcstore @KnuckleheadSean @trboxing … Photos owned by and taken by Vortex Photos

Pacquiao Jr. did a few rounds of mitts with me for my “Rounds With Freddie” - a fun, light series on my @YouTube channel. He works hard. Shows up everyday to work with my assistant trainer Marvin who is guiding him though amateur fights and wherever @MannyPacquiao and Jimuel want to take his boxing. Kid works hard. All you you critiques - have a little respect. @WildCardBoxing1 @WCBstore @liffgodd @KnuckleheadSean @TooFred

Forever a world champion and legend in boxing. One of the best boxers I ever had the privilege of working with - a world champion. Israel, may you rest in peace now. Condolences to the Vázquez family and to all those who called Israel their friend. #Magnifico @WildCardBoxing1
