On October 7, she heard that terrorists had infiltrated the Zikim base.

Adar immediately jumped in and protected 120 new soldiers.

She put all the recruits in the protected room and went out to fight the terrorists.

She strove for contact and fought with all her might!

After a hard fight, she fell in battle.

On October 7, Almog Saroussi was kidnapped from the Nova party after trying to save his partner Shahar Gindi.

Shahar was murdered there.

Almog was kidnapped to Gaza, and for 11 months in captivity, Almog bravely survived in inhumane conditions and dealt with a serious injury that worsened.

On August 29, 2024, Almog was murdered in the Hamas tunnels.

We will never forget and we will never forgive.

Growing up, I knew of Holocaust Remembrance Day—a day to remember the Holocaust and the atrocities the Nazis committed against us.

Then there is Memorial Day, honoring the soldiers who fought and fell in our wars.

And now, I feel there is yet another day of remembrance; whenever October 7th arrives, I am overcome with emotion.

I never imagined there would be another day in the year when I would have to bear such heavy grief.

We will never forget, and we will never forgive, what they did to us.

We have one country, and we would die for it.

On October 7, Eden Ram was shot 12 times by Hamas terrorists and played dead. She survived against all odds.

On the morning of October 7, when the alarms sounded, Ohad and Sandra entered the children's bedroom.

The two boys were asleep, and Mila had just woken up.

When Hamas terrorists entered their home and tried to break down the door, Ohad did everything he could to protect his family.

Mila was shot dead when the terrorists fired into the bedroom.

Sandra's mother was seriously injured.

The terrorists set the house on fire, and when the family tried to escape through the window, Ohad, Mila's father, was shot dead.

After murdering Mila and Ohad, the terrorists tried to kidnap Sandra and her children Liam and Dylan, some of whom were injured, and lead them towards the cemetery gate outside the kibbutz, but thanks to a distraction, they managed to escape and hide.

Mila was the youngest victim that day.
