Trump has picked Nick Adams, a right-wing influencer known for posting on here about steaks and Hooters, to be a new diplomatic envoy promoting American tourism. Trump had nominated him to be the ambassador to Malaysia, but withdrew it earlier this year.

Vance's dog did defecate on his campaign jet, but it didn't quite happen the way he says. The dog was clearly distressed, running back and forth, then eventually pooped next to some Secret Service agents near the rear of the plane. Members of Vance's staff had to clean it up.

The same day on the plane, the Vance family dog "took a shit" next to the press.

Adds the VP-elect, this "speaks to how we think of fake news."

After this campaign stop, another Vance campaign event did not go as expected. A town hall billed as "hosted by the Lance Wallnau Show" was not hosted by Wallnau. A Vance campaign official said they had never met, and were not campaigning together today.

Vance ended up shaking hands outside in parking lot.
