imo recent history suggests that the talent pool is getting thinned out by NIL now, so the shelf is hitting a round or two earlier.

If that trend holds the 2 is even more valuable imo.

They basically paid $17m for a 2 and 5. Many would be taken to task for that decision matrix when the alternative would have neen a 3rd or 4th comp pick for free
