Distractions and attempts to discredit critics will no longer work. The world has opened its eyes to the illegal, immoral, and criminal policies of the Israeli government that are destabilizing the entire region. The evidence is overwhelming. The thuggery of the Israeli propaganda machinery rings hollow. Disinformation is crumbling in the face of the facts.
The world has seen firsthand the inhumane policies of the Israeli government: the killing of children, the destruction of schools, the starvation of civilians, and the violation of the right of 5 million Palestinians living under occupation to freedom.
Jordan will continue to call out these atrocities and rally an effective international response to stop them, because we believe in a just peace that will bring security and stability to all in the region; because we believe in justice; and because we are committed to collective human values.
The Israeli government is condemning the whole region to a future of conflict and suffering. This is the truth that the Israeli government is trying to bury—in vain. It must be stopped. It must face consequences for its inhumane actions.

At UN meeting on humanitarian diplomacy:
Violations of international law persist because there is no accountability.
In Gaza, 2 million people are squeezed into a wasteland of need, oppression, indignity. They are suffering not because aid is not available, but because Israel is not allowing aid in.

We welcome the measures announced today by the British government against unlawful Israeli actions and policies that consolidate occupation, undermine the two-state solution and perpetuate injustice. We thank the British government for standing up for what is right.
We also thank Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Sweden for announcing their intention to take similar measures and reaffirming their support for the two-state solution. We thank Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands, Norway, Belgium, and other countries for the actions they have already taken.
Settlements, settler terrorism, land confiscation, the inhumane treatment of Palestinians and the strangulation of the Palestinian economy will not bring peace and security. Nor will violations of the historic and legal status quo at Jerusalem’s Muslim and Christian holy sites.
There is only one path to a just and lasting peace that guarantees security for all: Ending the unlawful occupation of Palestine and implementing the two-state solution.
Systematic violations of international law and measures that undermine the prospects for peace cannot be allowed to stand. The international community must take effective action to stop the Israeli government from further undermining the two-state solution and the right of all peoples of the region to live in peace and security.
The Israeli government must face real consequences for its radical policies and violation of international law. It must not be allowed to condemn the region and all its peoples to more wars and suffering.

The Israeli government is pushing the West Bank towards explosion. Its blatant violations of the historical and legal status quo at Jerusalem’s Holy Sites are illegal and dangerous provocations. They are pushing the region towards another disastrous conflcit that will reverberate beyond the occupied Palestinian Territories. The international community must act effectively and quickly against these Israeli measures before it is too late.
ForeignMinistry · Jul 23Joint Statement
The Foreign Ministers of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Türkiye, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar and the Arab Republic of Egypt condemn in the strongest terms the Israeli escalation at Al Aqsa Mosque / Al Haram Al Sharif, particularly the continued mass settlers’ incursions led by extremist Israeli ministers, into Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al-Haram Al-Sharif under the protection of the Israeli forces, the raising of the Israeli flag within its courtyards, the erection by Israeli police of two tents, and all other inflammatory acts. They stress that these provocative and unacceptable actions constitute a flagrant violation of international law, the relevant United Nations resolutions, and the historical and legal status quo at the holy sites in occupied East Jerusalem.
The Ministers further deplore and condemn in the strongest terms the illegal and extremist acts of incitement, incursions’ mobilization calls and violence by Israeli extremist ministers and groups. The Ministers warn that these provocative actions fuel hatred and extremism, and obstruct efforts to advance a just and lasting peace on the basis of the two-State solution.
Restrictions on access to the Old City of Jerusalem and its places of worship coupled with discriminatory and arbitrary access restrictions to the other places of worship in the Old City constitute a flagrant violation of international law, including international humanitarian law, and an unlawful attempt to alter the historical and legal status quo.
They stressed that Israel has no sovereignty over occupied Jerusalem or its Islamic and Christian holy sites.
The Foreign Ministers further condemn the continued and systematic violations and measures carried out by Israel, the occupying Power, aimed at altering the historical, legal, and demographic character of occupied East Jerusalem and undermining the sanctity and status of its Islamic and Christian holy sites.
They reaffirm their categorical rejection of any attempts to alter the historical and legal status quo in Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian holy sites, and stress on its preservation while recognizing the special role of the historical Hashemite custodianship in this regard. The Ministers reiterate that the entire area of Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al Haram Sharif, which amounts to 144 dunams, is a place of worship exclusively for Muslims, and that the Jerusalem Endowments and Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs Department, affiliated with the Jordanian Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, is the legal entity with exclusive jurisdiction to administer the affairs of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque / Al-Haram Al-Sharif and to regulate entry thereto.
The Ministers called on Israel, as the occupying Power, to immediately remove access restrictions to the Old City of Jerusalem, and refrain from obstructing Muslim worshippers’ access to the Mosque.
They also called on the international community to adopt a firm position that compels Israel to halt its ongoing violations and illegal practices against Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem, as well as its violations of the sanctity of these holy places.
