The AI Conference

In 2024 I made 5-year AI predictions on stage at the AI Conference. This year I went back and graded myself. My TAIC 2026 keynote, “Your Own Frontier”: youtube.com/watch?v=LKfD59…

Some of our favorite moments from The AI Conference 2026 were seeing attendees packed into sessions, taking notes, asking questions, and hearing directly from the people building AI today.

350+ participants. 88 projects. That’s a wrap on @AIconference’s Hack Day 2026!

Huge thanks to @achampiong and the @CrusoeDev team for showing up and supporting the builders.

Big ideas took the stage at The AI Conference 2026. 🎤

Across three days at Pier 48, builders, researchers, and leaders shared what they’re learning, what they’re building, and where AI is headed next.
Thank you to every speaker who brought their perspective to the stage and every attendee who joined the conversation.

Still thinking about @AIconference in San Francisco 😎

@cmaiacd took the stage to talk AI infrastructure, and we spent the rest of the event doing what we like most: talking to builders about GPUs, their workloads and what they need to scale faster

Nothing beats building alongside the people actually using the infrastructure

See you at the next one ⚡

Agentic commerce is about more than the checkout moment 🛒

@Lindsayjowalk @hashgraph spoke about this at the @AIconference, noting that we haven’t seen true autonomy just yet.

We co-hosted the official afterparty of The AI Conference (@AIconference) with Fireworks (@FireworksAI_HQ) yesterday.

Party in the Park took over The Great Lawn next to Oracle Park with live music, food, and drinks while the sun went down over the Bay.

We’re at The AI Conference 👋

Come find the Inngest crew at booth #136 to talk unbreakable agents, long-running workflows, and why reliability shouldn’t need its own architecture.

And yes, the cowboy hat made it to San Francisco. 🤠

See you there.

The @AIconference is blowing us away! We had a great time yesterday and on Day 0, and we're here today as well - come by booth 226 and say hi! Thanks to everyone who joined the Hack Day on Day 0 - we loved meeting you all and hearing how excited you were about what you can do with BAND ❤️

My panel on AI transformation at The @AIconference delivered real-world tips for a great audience on the main stage yesterday.

Big thanks to Claire Southey, Chief AI Officer of Rokt, and Todd @Earwood, CEO of Betraworks and an AI investor for 11 years. Of all the people I've talked to about AI in 2026, I hand-picked these two for the panel because I knew they had practical advice that AI folks would love to learn from. They delivered and this was confirmed by how many people were excited to chat with them after our panel.

I want to share two of the most helpful insights:

1.) CLAIRE:
Don't get fixated on only using AI to increase productivity because that is essentially just making yesterday's tasks more efficient. Be on the lookout for the second-order effects that AI can help you drive. Those are hard to see until they start to emerge. For example, when the dot com boom initially unfolded, no one foresaw social media would come from it, and when the smartphone launched, no one realized ride-sharing would come soon. Same applies on a small scale to your organization. When you implement AI, keep an eye out for the second-order effects that could emerge and create new opportunities.

2.) TODD:
When you start looking for places where AI could make an immediate impact in your organization, don't just go to the executives and top leaders. They often don't fully understand how the work gets done at the company. Instead, take a bottom-up approach and involve the individual contributors at the grassroots and ask them about their biggest pain points. Then you can brainstorm and consult about where AI could have the biggest and fastest impact.
