My favorite bit: Ile-GAT and Ile-TAT carry the same amino acid but go in opposite directions. Codons read by the "pushers" are enriched in stress programs (hypoxia, starvation), the "holders" in proliferation genes. Same amino acid, different jobs.

I do see a tick up in interest in tRNAs, especially in cancer, but let’s be honest, it’s still not a popular topic. And this is exactly the kind of research that owes its existence to @arcinstitute...
