Under Gannett's proposal, we will have fewer people working each day to report the news during a crisis that threatens our communities. What people we have left will struggle to make rent, pay for medical bills and take care of our families.

We're still talking to coworkers to gather information and decide what actions we as a union plan to take. We're also in the middle of breaking news and struggling to find time to work on this while dealing with COVID-19.
