UK for Afghanistan

The UK is deeply concerned by reports of an explosion near Sham-e-Hedayat School in Dasht-e-Barchi, which injured dozens of students. We send our sympathies to those affected and wish the injured a swift recovery. Schools must be protected, and children should never be targeted.

بریتانیا 257 میلیون افغانی اضافی را به افغانستان کمک می کند تا به مردم آسیب دیده از حوادث طبعی و سایر حوادث در فراهم ساختن مواد غذايی ضروري کمک کند. کمک های دوجانبه بریتانیا در این سال مالي‌ به 13 عشاریه 18 میلیارد افغانی میرسد تا به آنهاییکه بیشتر نیاز دارند کمک شود.

On #WorldWaterDay we highlight the vital role of our partners. For a child treated for malnutrition, a clean, safe health facility is essential. With UK support, @UNICEFAfg is water, sanitation & hygiene services in health facilities across Afghanistan, improving care & outcomes.

🇬🇧 contributions making a difference to support Afghans this winter

This week 🇬🇧 hosted the Afghanistan NGO Conference in 🇹🇷 on addressing the urgent humanitarian situation in Afghanistan. This event unites partners to share best practices and find ways to boost efficiency and impact for those most in need.

Severe winter storms have caused loss of life and widespread damage across Afghanistan. Through UK funding to Red Cross partners, @britishredcross & ARCS volunteers are providing cash assistance, medicines, food and essential winter supplies in hard‑to‑reach areas.
