Atheism left an empty space
Secular religion took its place

But left the people in despair
Childless hedonism sans care

Maybe religion’s not so bad
To keep you from being sad

Replying to @elonmusk

Atheism has just one aim
A response to any deity claim

A skeptics quest to support belief
Repeatedly fails and that's my beef

To "choose belief" one cannot do
Without admitting that it isn't true

And that's why Musk writes poetry
Because he's failed epistemology
