For Penn, the Barstool Sports acquisition did not help them capture the market as they hoped.

In Illinois, Penn has the 7th largest handle of sportsbook with 3.7% of the market.

Compare this to Fanduel with 43% and DraftKings at 31%.

Not so great.

On top of that, what makes Stoolies go crazy is Portnoy and the team's pirate ship attitude at Barstool.

This attitude has caused Penn issues time after time with maintaining good standing with regulators.
